Foreign Minister Urges UK Government to Address Ex-Gurkha Soldiers’ Demands

Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Prakash Saud has called on the UK government to address the legitimate demands of ex-Gurkha soldiers.
Speaking at the meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives, Minister Saud emphasized the importance of addressing the issues related to equal pensions for ex-Gurkha soldiers.
While acknowledging some progress made during the February 21 meeting of the Technical Committee between Nepal and the UK, Minister Saud highlighted that the demands regarding equal pensions remain unresolved. He further announced his plans to raise these issues during an upcoming meeting of the committee in London on March 24.
