Former Prime Ministers, Dignitaries Converge for Visit Bharatpur-2024 Launch
In a bid to invigorate tourism prospects and showcase the cultural richness of Bharatpur, the inaugural ceremony of Visit Bharatpur-2024 is set to commence this afternoon on the picturesque banks of the Narayani River. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is slated to lead the commencement ceremony, marking the initiation of this ambitious tourism venture.
The event is poised to witness the presence of esteemed personalities from Nepal’s political landscape, with five former Prime Ministers confirming their attendance. Among them are former PM and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress President and former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former PM Madhav Nepal, former PM Jhalanath Khanal, and former Chairman of Council of Ministers Khilaraj Regmi.
Adding to the grandeur of the occasion, former Deputy Prime Minister Rabi Lamichhane and notable leaders from the private sector are also expected to grace the inaugural ceremony, as confirmed by Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Renu Dahal.
