Four Nepali pilgrims from Tulasipur, Dang, lost their lives in a tragic road accident in India while traveling to various religious sites.
The accident occurred on Thursday evening at Bahraich, India, when the jeep (UP 31 AC 7200) carrying the pilgrims met with an accident while en route from Tulasipur.
Among the deceased are 37-year-old jeep driver Yubraj Chapagain of Parseni, Tulasipur Sub-Metropolitan City-7, and Jit Bahadur Oli from the same ward, confirmed ward chairperson Ram Bahadur GC. The identities of the remaining two victims have yet to be confirmed.
A total of nine people were traveling in the vehicle, all from Tulasipur. Five others sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment in India.
