Free medical camp organized by Army

The Bhimdal Battalion of the Nepali Army organized a one-day free health camp at Chhintang, Sahid Bhumi Rural Municipality–3, on Friday.

Inaugurating the camp, No. 2 Brigade Chief and Brigadier General Mahesh Kumar Thapa said that the free camp was organised at Chhintang to serve the local people, particularly the senior citizens and the children, who may find it difficult to reach the district headquarters for healthcare.

Purna Prajapati, a soldier at the free health camp, informed that general health check-up and ENT, ophthalmic, dental, orthopaedic and gastroenterological examinations were conducted at the camp.

Chief District Officer of Dhankuta Yubraj Kattel said that the camp was conducted to connect people living in remote areas with the state.

According to the army, 281 locals benefited from the camp.
