Get Your Dashain Goats from FMTC

The Food Management and Trading Company (FMTC) has commenced the sale of goats and mountain goats. This state-owned trading company is making these animals available at its Thapathali-based provincial office.

According to Sharmila Neupane, the Information Officer of FMTC, the company is offering live goats for Rs 670 per kilogram and mountain goats for Rs 1,250 per kilogram.

FMTC is gearing up to make approximately 2,000 goats and 1,000 mountain goats available for this Dashain celebration. These animals have been sourced from districts like Makwanpur, Dang, and Kailali, while mountain goats have been brought from Raswua. It’s an opportunity for people to purchase the animals they need for this special festival.
