Gold and Silver Prices Drop Significantly in Domestic Market

In a sharp decline, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 2,200 per tola (11.66 grams) in Nepal’s domestic market today. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the price of hallmark gold, previously set at Rs 162,200 on Wednesday, now stands at Rs 160,000 per tola.
Silver has also seen a price reduction, dropping by Rs 35 per tola. The current price of silver is Rs 1,905 per tola, down from Rs 1,940 on Wednesday.
These reductions reflect ongoing fluctuations in precious metals markets, impacting local trading and consumer purchasing trends.
