Gold Price Decreases by Rs 2,300 Per Tola After Hitting All-Time High

The price of gold, which reached an all-time high in the domestic market on Monday, has decreased by Rs 2,300 per tola (11.66 grams) today. On Monday, gold was traded at Rs 150,000 per tola.
Following the decrease in price, hallmark gold is now being traded at Rs 147,700 per tola, according to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. Similarly, worked gold is being traded at Rs 147,000 per tola today, down from Rs 149,500 on Monday.
The price of silver has also seen a decrease, dropping by Rs 60 per tola. It is now fixed at Rs 1,725 per tola, compared to Rs 1,785 on Monday.
This significant reduction in prices comes as a relief to buyers and indicates a shift in the precious metals market after the recent highs.
