The price of gold in the domestic market has dropped by Rs 900 per tola (11.66 grams) today, the first trading day of the week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is currently being traded at Rs 174,100 per tola, down from the closing price of Rs 175,000 on Friday.
Similarly, the price of silver has also decreased by Rs 15 per tola, now standing at Rs 1,980 per tola.
In the international market, gold is priced at 3,022 US dollars per ounce. The decline in gold and silver prices reflects fluctuations in the global market, influencing local trading rates.
