Gold Price Reaches Record High in Domestic Market

The price of gold has reached a new record in the domestic market today. Continuing its upward trend, the yellow metal hit its highest price point so far.
According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been set at Rs 150,000 per tola (11.66 grams). This marks an increase from Rs 149,700 on Sunday, with a surge of Rs 300 per tola. Previously, the highest recorded price was Rs 149,800 per tola on July 17.
Similarly, the price of worked gold has also seen an increase of Rs 300 per tola. It was traded at Rs 149,200 on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained unchanged. The Federation stated that silver is being traded at Rs 1,785 per tola today.
