Gold Price Rises by Rs 2,000 per Tola in Nepal

The price of gold has surged by Rs 2,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market, marking a significant increase in the first trading week of the year.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the price of hallmark gold now stands at Rs 153,000 per tola, compared to Rs 151,000 per tola on Thursday.

In addition, silver prices have also seen an uptick, rising by Rs 20 per tola. The new rate for silver is set at Rs 1,810 per tola.

This price hike reflects fluctuations in the international market, impacting local gold and silver rates. Jewelers and investors are closely monitoring these changes, which could influence purchasing trends in the coming days.
