Gold Prices Hit Record High of Rs 153,000 per Tola in Domestic Market
The price of gold has surged to an all-time high in the domestic market, reaching Rs 153,000 per tola (11.66 grams) today. This unprecedented rise reflects the soaring prices of gold in the international market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 153,000 per tola as of Wednesday. The price has increased by Rs 800 per tola compared to the previous day, setting a new record in the domestic market.
Alongside gold, the price of silver has also seen an increase. Silver is now being traded at Rs 1,835 per tola, marking a rise of Rs 15 compared to yesterday, Tuesday.
The significant rise in the prices of both gold and silver highlights the current volatility in the precious metals market, driven by various global economic factors.
