Gold Prices Surge by Rs 400 per Tola
The price of gold in the Nepali market experienced a notable increase of Rs 400 per tola today, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The surge has been attributed to fluctuations in the international market and other economic factors.
As of today, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 118,400 per tola, while standard gold is now traded at Rs 117,850 per tola. This marks a substantial rise from the prices observed on Friday, where fine gold was valued at Rs 118,000 per tola, and standard gold at Rs 117,450 per tola.
The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association also reported that the price of silver has been set at Rs 1,395 per tola today, reflecting a dynamic trend in the precious metals market.
The Federation, responsible for regulating and determining the prices of gold and silver in the domestic market, reviews and adjusts these rates on a daily basis. The decisions are influenced by the prevalent price trends in the international market, ensuring that the local market stays aligned with global economic conditions.
