Gold Prices Witness a Significant Drop, Falls by Rs 700 per Tola
The price of gold experienced a notable decline in the domestic market on Thursday. According to the latest data from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the coveted yellow metal is currently being traded at Rs 117,500 per tola, marking a substantial decrease of Rs 700 compared to Wednesday’s rates.
On the previous trading day, gold was valued at Rs 118,200 per tola, highlighting a clear shift in market dynamics. This sudden drop has captured the attention of investors and consumers alike, prompting discussions about the potential factors influencing this significant change.
In addition to the overall decline in gold prices, the market also observed a decrease in the rates of tejabi gold. Tejabi gold is now being traded at Rs 116,950 per tola, down from its Wednesday value of Rs 117,650 per tola.
The downward trend in precious metal prices extended to silver as well, with its rates dropping by Rs 10 per tola. Silver is currently being traded at Rs 1,390 per tola, signaling a modest yet noticeable shift in its market value.
