Government Engaged in Diplomatic Efforts Over Death of Nepali Student in India: PM Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has assured that the government is actively pursuing the case of a Nepali student’s death in India through diplomatic channels.
Taking to social media, PM Oli addressed concerns regarding the incident at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, where Prakriti Lamsal, a Nepali student, was found dead in the girls’ hostel.
“It has been reported through media and social platforms that a Nepali student has died at KIIT and that Nepali students have been forcibly evicted from the hostel. The government is working diplomatically on this matter,” PM Oli stated.
The case has raised serious concerns, prompting government intervention to ensure justice and safety for Nepali students studying abroad.
