The government has decided to expedite the endorsement of recently issued ordinances through a fast-track process.
In a meeting held today, the Council of Ministers agreed to move forward with the endorsements during the Federal Parliament’s winter session, set to begin on January 31. The decision was announced by government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung.
Speaking briefly to the media after the meeting, Minister Gurung stated, “The ordinances issued by the President have been registered in the Federal Parliament. The government has also decided to formulate regulations to ensure their effective implementation.”
He emphasized that introducing ordinances is a constitutional right of the government, which utilizes them based on necessity. The recent ordinances, he noted, are aimed at promoting good governance and addressing ongoing economic challenges.
Additionally, the Cabinet decided to commemorate “Martyrs Day” tomorrow by organizing various programs in honor of those who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
