Grade 12 Result Published – 51% Pass, 49.09% Non-Graded

The National Examinations Board (NEB) has unveiled the results of Grade 12 examinations conducted from May 9 to May 19. A total of 467,389 students from 1,457 exam centers across the nation participated in the exams, marking a significant milestone for young scholars.

The results have brought mixed outcomes for the students, with 51% managing to secure a passing grade. Out of the total candidates, a commendable 1,90,711 students have successfully passed their Grade 12 exams, demonstrating their dedication and hard work.

An outstanding achievement is the number of individuals who have excelled with a GPA (Grade Point Average) exceeding 3.6. A remarkable 6,976 students have managed to attain this prestigious distinction, showcasing their exceptional academic performance.

However, not all results were as expected. A notable percentage of 49.09% of candidates did not manage to pass the exams, reflecting the challenges that some students faced in this rigorous evaluation. This accounts for a staggering count of 1,82,926 individuals who did not achieve the minimum passing grade.

Of particular interest is the high number of students who received a Non-Graded (NG) status, with the majority of NG results occurring in the subject of English. A substantial 1,09,527 students received an NG in English, indicating the need for further support in this subject area.
