India Strongly Rebukes China’s Claims on Arunachal Pradesh
In a stern response to China’s persistent claims over Arunachal Pradesh, India firmly reiterated its stance, asserting the northeastern state as an integral part of its territory. The rejection comes amidst escalating tensions between the two Asian giants over territorial disputes.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, categorically dismissed China’s assertions, labeling them as baseless. “Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will always be an integral and inalienable part of India,” stated Jaiswal, highlighting the unwavering commitment to the region’s sovereignty.
The latest exchange follows China’s reaffirmation of its claim over Arunachal Pradesh, branding it as an “inherent part” of its territory.
