Indian PM Modi Mourns the Loss of Sita Dahal
India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sadness upon learning about the demise of Sita Dahal.
Modi took to Twitter to convey his sincere condolences to Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, the Prime Minister of Nepal and husband of the late Sita Dahal. He also offered his prayers for the departed soul to find eternal peace.
Prime Minister Modi’s tweet read, “Extremely saddened to learn about the demise of Mrs. Sita Dahal. I express my sincere condolences to @cmprachanda and pray that the departed soul finds eternal peace.”
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s spouse Sita Dahal passed away today at 8.33 am while under treatment at the Norvic International Airport at Thapathali. She was 69.
Suffering from Parkinson’s, Sita Dahal was ill for long. She was admitted to Norvic Hospital after she developed complications in her health. Dahal was the advisor of the Maoist Centre.
