India’s objection after Radio Nepal used incorrect map on its online edition
India has objected to Radio Nepal, a government media under the Government of Nepal after it used an incorrect map of India on its online edition.
The North Desk of the Ministry of External Affairs of India has instructed the Indian Embassy in Nepal to report the truth in this regard.
According to top government sources, informal inquiries have been made in this regard with the Ministry of Information and Communication and the Prime Minister.
In the map used in the news, the territory of India has been transferred to Pakistan.
On Monday morning, in the online version of Radio Nepal, the incorrect map of India was used in the news “SAARC level Climate Change Journalist Forum formed”.
In the map of South Asia, the borders of other member states including Nepal were also wrong.
