The IDF confirmed the strike also killed Ali Karaki, the commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front. The announcement comes shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s firm speech at the UN, rejecting calls for a ceasefire.
The IDF attributed Nasrallah’s 32-year reign to numerous terrorist attacks and the deaths of many civilians and soldiers.
