Jaipur Music Stage 2025 Delivers a Soulful Second Evening

The Jaipur Music Stage 2025 continued its musical journey with an enchanting second evening, following an electrifying opening night on January 30. Held at Hotel Clarks Amer, the three-day festival comes alive each evening as the Jaipur Literature Festival winds down for the day, offering audiences an immersive musical experience.

The opening night featured two exceptional performances that paid tribute to the timeless verses of medieval poets Amir Khusrau and Kabir Das. The Hazrat Amir Khusrau Project, led by acclaimed musician Abhijit Pohankar, brought Khusrau’s legacy to life, while Dastaan LIVE reimagined the poetry of Kabir in a powerful rock-opera style.

The second evening continued the festival’s spellbinding momentum with performances from renowned artists. Singer-songwriter Kamakshi Khanna, known for her heartfelt lyrics and seamless blend of pop, R&B, soul, and folk influences, captivated the audience with her evocative melodies.

The night’s highlight was a collaborative act featuring Susheela Raman, celebrated for her fusion of world music, Indian classical, and experimental sounds. She performed alongside Sam Mills, a pioneering guitarist in cross-cultural music; Nathoo Lal Solanki, a 13th-generation maestro of the Nagada and Rajasthani folk traditions; and Chugge Khan, an acclaimed performer specializing in Rajasthani folk, Sufi, and Indian classical fusion. Together, they delivered a mesmerizing performance that blended international and Rajasthani musical traditions, enthralling the audience with their dynamic energy and depth.
