
Jajarkot Earthquake: 3 Injured Airlifted to Surkhet for treatment


Three people from Aathbiskot Municipality, who were injured in the earthquake, have been airlifted to Surkhet Provincial Hospital by a helicopter for treatment.
They were sent to Surkhet for treatment this morning on a Nepali army helicopter.
Acting Chief Administrative Officer of the Municipality, Maniraj Shah, said. The helicopter had arrived at Aathbiskot Municipality with health workers and medical supplies.
Meanwhile, 62 injured are undergoing treatment at the municipal hospital in Radi. A team of three health workers, including a doctor from Surkhet, are serving the injured at the hospital, Shah said.
More than 50 people have been found dead in wards No. 11, 12, 13, and 14 of the municipality so far.
