Janamat Party to Decide on Government Role Post-Budget
Dr. CK Raut, Chairman of the Janamat Party, declared that his party is in no rush to join the federal government. Speaking exclusively to reporters, Chairman Raut emphasized that the Janamat Party will carefully weigh its options and make a decision post the passing of the budget.
The deliberation comes amidst speculation of potential ministerial roles for the party within the coalition. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has commenced discussions with coalition partners regarding the appointment of Dr. CK Raut as the Foreign Minister. However, Chairman Raut asserted that the party’s stance on joining the federal government hinges on broader considerations and strategic planning.
Currently, the Janamat Party holds a significant position as Chief Minister in Madhesh Province, with Satish Kumar Singh fulfilling the role of Chief Minister.
