Joining RSP: A Commitment to the Country, Not Personal Gains, Says Rabi Lamichhane

Rabi Lamichhane, President of Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has emphasized that joining the party does not automatically entail becoming a candidate for political positions. Speaking at a program held in Kathmandu today, President Lamichhane addressed recent speculations where some individuals who joined the RSP are saying to to run for mayor or ward chairman positions. President Lamichhane clarified that being a member of RSP does not automatically grant candidacy.

He further emphasized the importance of selecting the right leadership for the party’s mission, Mission 2084. President Lamichhane stressed that the RSP is not a platform created to cater to personal interests or ambitions but to serve the greater good of the country and its people.

During his speech, he also urged everyone in the country to use positive and impactful slogans for the betterment of society. President Lamichhane stated that the success of Mission 2084 depends on unified efforts and the use of constructive language by all citizens.

Additionally, President Lamichhane asserted that the RSP will take swift action against any party leaders engaged in unethical behavior or misconduct. He underscored the party’s commitment to maintaining a high standard of conduct and accountability among its members.
