JSP Convenes Parliamentary Party Meeting Today at 4:00 PM
The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has called a parliamentary party meeting for 4:00 pm today to decide the party’s position over the Prime Minister’s bid to obtain a vote of confidence.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence tomorrow, Wednesday in the House of Representatives.
According to the party’s central publicity and publication department chief, Purna Basnet, the meeting will decide the party’s position over the Prime Minister’s efforts to obtain a vote of confidence in the House.
The decision of the Nepali Congress to withdraw the party’s support to the Dahal-led government in the aftermath of Dahal’s move to break the alliance with the NC and induct the CPN (UML) and other parties in the government required him to obtain the vote of confidence.
