JSP’s Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav files candidacy for the post of vice president

Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Nepal’s leader Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has filed nomination for vice-presidential election.

Yadav filed his nomination at the office of the Election Officer established at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor, today.

Leaders Ashok Kumar Rai, Pradeep Yadav, Kisan Shrestha, Shakti Basnet and Rameshjung Rayamazhi proposed Yadav for the post while leaders Rekha Yadav, Ambika Kafle, Prakash Jwala, Khimlal Devkota and Bhanubhakta Joshi seconded the proposal.

Earlier, the executive committee meeting of JSP held last Thursday decided to make Yadav the vice-presidential candidate.

CPN-UML Vice-Chair Ashtalakshmi Shakya has already registered her candidacy for the post of Vice-President.
