
Kamala Panthi Elected Chairperson of Sancharika Samuha


Kamala Panthi has been elected as the new Chairperson of Sancharika Samuha, a prominent network of women journalists in Nepal. Her election was confirmed during the organization’s 9th general convention held on Friday.
Joining her in the leadership team are Basanti Bastola as Vice-Chair, Radha Khanal as General Secretary (elected unopposed), Urvashi Basnyat as Secretary, and Sajna Tamang as Treasurer.
The newly elected members of the working committee include Kalpana Sharma, Bishnu Panthi, Devi Sapkota, Ajabi Poudel, Kalika Shiwakoti, Samjhana Ban, Tara Chapagain, and Deepa Regmi.
Sancharika Samuha continues to play a vital role in promoting gender equality, media freedom, and professional development for women in journalism across Nepal.
