Kathmandu District Court Orders Release of Rabi Lamichhane on Bail

The District Court of Kathmandu has ordered the release of Rabi Lamichhane on bail of Rs 6 million in connection with a cooperative scam. The order was issued by a single bench of Judge Madhav Prasad Adhikari.

Lamichhane faced charges related to the misappropriation of savings belonging to Swarnalaxmi Multi-Purpose Cooperative. Senior advocates Sushil Panta and Raman Shrestha represented Lamichhane and argued on his behalf during the hearing.
