
Kathmandu Temperatures Expected to Cool Down Starting Sunday

The ongoing heatwave in the Kathmandu Valley is expected to ease starting Sunday, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The department reported that a drop in temperature is likely following expected rainfall, though Saturday will remain hot, with maximum temperatures in the valley ranging between 31°C and 34°C.
Elsewhere across the country, fair weather is expected today, with partly to generally cloudy conditions forecast in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is possible in isolated areas within the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali.
