Kathmandu Valley Experiences Temperature Dip Amid Fair Weather
The Kathmandu Valley continues to experience a drop in temperature, with meteorologists predicting the trend will persist in the coming days. Despite the cold, the overall weather remains fair, offering some respite to residents.
According to Meteorologist Rogen Lamichhane, the minimum temperature recorded this morning was 4°C, which has since risen slightly to 5°C. The maximum temperature for the day is expected to range between 17°C and 19°C, as per the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s regular weather bulletin.
The weather is partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi Province, while the rest of the country enjoys clear skies. Foggy conditions have been reported in several parts of the Terai and valleys, reducing visibility in some areas.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division predicts partly cloudy conditions tonight in Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati Provinces, with fair weather expected in other regions.
The Department has issued an advisory urging caution for those traveling through the fog-affected areas in the Terai and valleys, especially during the early morning hours. Residents are advised to stay prepared as cooler days lie ahead.
This weather pattern serves as a reminder for locals to brace for the deepening winter chill while remaining vigilant during periods of reduced visibility caused by fog.
