Lamichhane Case Hearing Postponed to May 14
06th May 2024
The Patan High Court has postponed the next hearing of the rape case involving cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane to May 14. The decision to defer the case came during yesterday’s session.
The hearing is set to be conducted by the division bench consisting of Chief Judge Nripdhoj Niraula and Judge Durga Prasad Dhungel. It should be noted that Chief Judge Niraula, who had initially directed the summoning of both parties involved in the case, will not preside over the case to maintain judicial impartiality.
Further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
