Landslide in Bajhang District Kills Four, Six Rescued Alive
Four people were killed in a landslide that struck Tumeda village in Bungal Municipality-10 of Bajhang district. The victims have been identified as Kali Dhami, Golki Dhami, Akriti Dhami, and Laxmi Dhami, all residents of Tumeda in Bungal-10, according to Assistant Chief District Officer Satya Kumari Joshi.
The landslide, which occurred last night, buried their house, leading to the tragic loss of life. “Reports confirm the death of four individuals, while six others have been rescued. We are heading to the affected areas with relief materials,” Joshi said.
The bodies were recovered in the morning with the assistance of local residents and police. Those rescued alive from the landslide include Bir Bahadur Dhami, Ujjal Dhami, Roshan Dhami, Kamala Dhami, Amba Dutta Joshi, and Shanti Dhami, as confirmed by police.
