Late Bhandari’s contribution in politics high: Madhav Nepal
Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, has said the contribution of people’s leader Madan Bhandari was high to develop the Communist ideology in Nepali characteristics and making it popular.
In a message today on the occasion of the 72nd birth anniversary of Madan Bhandari, Chairperson Nepal mentioned that late Bhandari has significant contribution in propounding people’s multi-party democracy and social justice, equality, development and prosperity through its use.
Bhandari made the communist ideology popular studying it deeply and strengthened it as per people’s wish, he said, adding that Bhandari’s simple lifestyle and struggle is exemplary and inspiring to all.
The then General-Secretary of the CPN (UML), Madan Bhandari, and Organisation Department Chief Jeevaraj Ashrit died in a jeep accident at Dasdhunga of Chitwan district on May 16, 1993.
