Light Rainfall Across the Country Due to Active Monsoon Winds

Light rainfall is occurring in various parts of the country this morning due to the ongoing influence of active monsoon winds, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

The Division reports that the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy this afternoon, with light to moderate rain expected in several provinces. Specifically, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces are likely to experience scattered rainfall, while Madhes and Karnali Provinces may see rain in fewer areas.

There is also a possibility of heavy rain in some locations within Koshi, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim Provinces this afternoon.

Later tonight, the weather will continue to be partly to mostly cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is anticipated in some areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, with sporadic rainfall expected in the remaining provinces.
