Light Rainfall Expected in Koshi and Gandaki Amid Partly Cloudy Weather

Nepal’s weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali, while other parts of the country will see mostly clear skies, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. The current weather pattern is influenced by westerly and local winds.

By afternoon, cloud cover is likely to persist over the hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, with the rest of the country experiencing clear conditions. There is a chance of light rainfall accompanied by lightning at one or two locations in the hilly regions, along with light snowfall in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

During the night, the hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will have clear skies. Light rain with lightning may occur in isolated spots in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki.
