Light Rainfall Likely in Koshi, Madhes, and Lumbini Provinces

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has predicted light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some parts of Koshi, Madhes, and Lumbini provinces today.

This weather condition is attributed to local and westerly winds combined with a low-pressure system that has developed near Bihar, India.

The hilly regions of the country are expected to remain partly cloudy throughout the day. Specifically, the hilly areas of Koshi and Lumbini provinces are forecasted to experience light to moderate rainfall along with storms and lightning, according to the Department.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions due to the potential for sudden weather changes.
