Light Snowfall Expected in High Hills, Fog Likely in Tarai

The weather across Nepal is set to remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while other areas will experience mostly clear skies due to the influence of westerly winds.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, light snowfall is expected in some high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Meanwhile, mist and fog are likely to affect parts of the Tarai, potentially disrupting daily life, as well as road and air transport.

The Division has urged the public to take necessary precautions to mitigate any adverse effects caused by the weather conditions.
