Light Snowfall Expected in Mountainous Regions Today

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted light snowfall in some mountainous regions of the country today.

According to the Department, the Koshi Province will experience partly cloudy weather in its mountainous areas this afternoon, with chances of light snowfall at one or two locations. Meanwhile, the hilly regions may see light rain, thunder, and lightning in isolated areas.

In Madhes Province, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear, while the mountainous regions of Bagmati Province will have partly cloudy conditions.

The mountainous regions of Gandaki Province could witness light snowfall in select areas, while the hilly regions might have partly cloudy weather.

Similarly, Karnali Province may see light snowfall at one or two spots in its mountainous areas. The province’s hilly regions could also experience light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning.

In Sudurpaschim Province, the mountainous and hilly regions are likely to have partly cloudy weather.

The Department advises residents and travelers in these areas to stay updated on the weather conditions and take necessary precautions.
