Live Screening of Nepal vs. Netherlands ICC T-20 World Cup Match in Kathmandu
Cricket fans in Kathmandu are in for a treat as the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has announced live screenings of the ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup match between Nepal and the Netherlands. The event will be held at three prominent locations: Tundikhel, Tinkune, and Handigaon.
In a collaborative effort with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Open Doors Entertainment, KMC is organizing these screenings free of cost for the public. This initiative aims to bring the excitement of Nepal’s first match in the 2024 World Cup closer to home for fans who cannot attend the game in person.
The match, which is set to take place in Dallas, USA, will commence tonight at 9:15 pm Nepali Standard Time. To ensure fans have a memorable experience, gates at Tundikhel will open early. Additionally, a cultural program featuring notable artists will start at 6:00 pm, as announced by Elin Shrestha, President of Open Doors Entertainment.
The KMC encourages all cricket enthusiasts to join in this community event and support the national team as they compete on the world stage.
