Local Governments Key to Advancing Agriculture: Minister Adhikari

Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari has emphasized the crucial role of local governments in driving agricultural development.

Speaking at a meeting with local government chiefs and deputies from Dhading district at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development on Thursday, Minister Adhikari assured that recommendations from local levels would be incorporated into agricultural policies and programs.

He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to formulating and implementing effective policies and programs to enhance the agriculture sector, ensuring maximum efforts to support farmers and boost productivity.
