An LPG tanker traveling from Chitwan to Kathmandu veered off the road and plunged down a hillside at Krishnabhir in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7, Dhading, earlier today.
Despite the dramatic accident, no injuries have been reported so far. However, authorities are continuing their search for the driver and co-driver of the vehicle.
The District Police Office in Gajuri is overseeing rescue operations. Local residents have been urged to exercise caution in case of a gas leak. Police Inspector Suraj Shrestha from the District Traffic Police Office has advised the public to immediately contact Nepal Police via the emergency number 100 if they detect any signs of leakage.
Officials are working to secure the area and prevent potential hazards from the accident, which has raised concerns about road safety and the transport of hazardous materials in the region.
