Madhes Province’s government gets full shape
The government of Madhes Province has got full shape. With the entry of the Maoist Centre in the government, it got full shape on Tuesday.
Upon the recommendation of Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav, a minister and a state minister representing the Maoist Centre took oath of office and secrecy.
Province Chief Hari Shankar Mishra administered the oath of office and secrecy to Minister for Industry, Tourism and Forest, Sunita Yadav; and Minister of State for Industry, Tourism and Forest, Rahabar Ansari, amidst a programme today. Yadav took the oath in Maithili language and Minister of State Ansari in Bhojpuri language.
Yadav was elected the Province Assembly member under the proportional quota in November 20 election, while Minister of State under the direct election from Parsa.
With the latest induction, the Madhes Province has 15-member Cabinet, including the Chief Minister.
