Madhesh government is serious to solve industrialists’ problems: Chief Minister Singh
Madhesh Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has said that the province government is serious to solve industrialists’ problems.
Inaugurating the 57th Annual General Meeting of the Janakpurdham Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, Chief Minister Singh said, “I understand the problems of the businessmen; they are facing problems in bringing goods from India. There is problem related to tax, the lack of skilled manpower in the customs office has also made it difficult to work over there.”
He said that there is a plan of the province government to create jobs in the agriculture sector in Dhanusha and Siraha along the Kamala River. He asked the industrialists to pay attention to the fact that the locals are not getting employment in the industries established in Madhesh region.
“Locals should be given employment while operating business and industry,” said Chief Minister Singh. He expressed his commitment that the provincial government is positive for the rights and interests of industrialists.
He further opined that the stakeholders should be involved even at the policy level. Province Assembly Member Ram Ashish Yadav, Mayor of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City Manoj Kumar Shah, chairman of Janakpurdham Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jitendra Kumar Mahaseth among other officials was present in the programme.
