Manaslu avalanche : 1 died , 2 brought to Kathmandu , 9 being rescued

One of the critically injured climbers in the Mt Manaslu avalanche has died. According to Gorkha Police, the deceased has been identified as Anup Rai.

Similarly, two people who were injured in the avalanche have been rescued and brought to Kathmandu, while efforts are being made to rescue nine others.

The two injured – from Seven Summit Treks and Imagine Nepal – are undergoing treatment at Karuna Hospital and their condition is stable.
