Maoist Centre’s meeting assigned Chair Prachanda to decide on the Presidential election

The Maoist Centre has entrusted party Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to make the final decision on behalf of the party on the presidential election.

A meeting of the party’s office-bearers held at party headquarters on Monday authorized Dahal to hold needful discussions with other parties and reach a consensus.

The party has also decided to seek national consensus to elect the country’s President.

The Election Commission is holding the election for the post of President on March 9.
