Maoist Follows Nepali Congress: Central Committee Meeting to be Live-Streamed

Following the example set by the Nepali Congress, the ruling Maoist Center party has also announced that its upcoming central committee meeting will be live-streamed for the public to view. Scheduled to take place from August 2 to 7, the decision was reached during a meeting of the party’s office bearers on Monday morning, as confirmed by General Secretary Dev Gurung.

Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda,” has been entrusted with the crucial task of preparing the political report to be presented at the momentous gathering.

By offering a live-stream of the central committee meeting on the official party page, the Maoist Center aims to promote transparency and inclusivity, granting citizens unprecedented access to the party’s internal discussions and decision-making processes.

This move follows the recent precedent set by the Nepali Congress, which successfully live-streamed its own Central Committee meeting.
