Maoist’s Shiva Chandra Kushwaha joins Janamat Party
CPN-Maoist Center’s leader of Bara district Shiva Chandra Kushwaha has defected to the Janamat Party.
Kushwaha joined the Janmat Party by organizing a press conference at the Reporters Club.
Chairperson of the Janamat Party, Dr CK Raut welcomed Kushwaha into the party.
Kushwaha was the candidate of the Maoist Center in Bara-2 in the last House of Representatives election. But he was defeated by the then JSP candidate Ramsahay Prasad Yadav by a margin of 354 votes.
After Yadav was elected as the Vice President, the by-election will be held in Bara-2 on on April 23.
Kushwaha is now preparing to contest the by-election in Bara-2.
Janata Samajwadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav is also preparing to contest the by-elections from the power alliance in that constituency.
