Meteorological Forecast: Weather to Gradually Improve, Says Division
The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has announced that the weather across Nepal is set to gradually improve in the coming days, following sporadic rainfall and cloudy conditions persisting due to the partial impact of a westerly low-pressure system, commonly known as a western disturbance.
Today, sporadic rainfall is expected in some areas, with cloudy weather prevailing in different parts of the country. The hilly regions, including the Koshi Province, are currently experiencing cloudy conditions. However, the Division anticipates that the weather will start clearing up from Saturday onwards.
In Kathmandu Valley, the weather has already cleared up since early morning today, following a slight rainfall experienced on Thursday evening.
The Division’s forecast indicates that the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will experience partly to generally cloudy weather, while the hilly regions of Bagmati, Karnali, and Sudur Pashchim provinces will have partly cloudy conditions. The rest of the country is expected to be mainly fair. Additionally, there is a possibility of light rain in some parts of the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Moreover, the Division predicts light snowfall in a few places of the high hilly and mountainous regions today.
As the nation prepares for the transition to clearer weather, individuals are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and take necessary precautions while traveling or engaging in outdoor activities.
