Kham Bahadur Garbuja, the newly appointed Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, took the oath of office and secrecy today at a ceremony held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
Garbuja was sworn in before Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, members of the Council of Ministers, senior government officials, and other dignitaries.
Garbuja, a lawmaker from the Nepali Congress, was appointed to the ministerial post on April 30 upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Oli and with the approval of President Ramchandra Paudel.
