‘Modiji has given great importance to visiting Nepal’

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed that his Indian counterpart, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has placed great significance on visiting Nepal. This statement was made by Prime Minister Dahal during a National Assembly meeting on Wednesday, where he shared details about his recent visit to India.

During his meeting with Prime Minister Modi, Prime Minister Dahal extended an invitation for him to visit Nepal, and he informed the assembly that Modi has expressed his intention to visit at an appropriate time. Prime Minister Dahal stated, “I have invited the Prime Minister of India, His Excellency Mr. Narendra Modiji, to visit Nepal. He has shown great importance to Nepal’s invitation, taking into account his visits to Nepal in 2014, 2018, and 2022, and has assured that he will visit at a suitable time.”

The Nepalese Prime Minister emphasized that his visit to India has contributed to strengthening the multifaceted and close relations between Nepal and India, based on principles of equality and mutual benefits. He noted that the open conversation he had with Prime Minister Modi created an atmosphere of trust and laid the foundation for addressing current issues.

Prime Minister Dahal highlighted the significance of his visit to India, as it was his first foreign visit following the general elections held last year. He emphasized that this visit was focused on achieving tangible outcomes and provided clear guidance for the future.

Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to India took place from 31 May to 3 June.
